Freezing rain made walking difficult this evening. In some places, the only way I could go uphill without sliding back down was on the tire tracks in the street. I decided to skip my regular Tuesday night study group, and I later learned that it was canceled anyway for the same reason.

But in a way, I'm glad for the yucky weather. It made me feel more like I accomplished something when I made my way to the voting precinct.

I just found out that my candidate cleaned up here. That's not a surprise, but I was a little worried when I saw that the ballot listed several people who officially weren't in the race anymore, including Bill Richardson. Leave it to the District not to update after more than a month.
