(no subject)
Still not ready to run at the mouth (or fingers) on The Dark Knight. Maybe I never will. But there is one general franchise point I want to address:
People repeatedly call Batman's enemies, and even Batman himself, "crazy." I rarely see any of them that way. Eccentric misfits, yes. Criminals with controversial mindsets, yes. Likely to be diagnosed with some kind of personality disorder, yes. But from what I've seen, they almost always seem to know what they're doing. I question the sensibility of Two-Face, but Batman is usually effective in filling an important void in Gotham City, and even the Joker has no big self-delusions and knows how to have fun while getting a lot of things done.
Scary as it may sound, they all might be saner than I am.
