Another "Today in History" entry:

1969: The lunar module of Apollo 10, with Thomas P. Stafford and Eugene Cernan aboard, flies to within nine miles of the moon's surface in a dress rehearsal for the first lunar landing.

I blinked when I got to "dress," then sighed when I got to "rehearsal." (No, they are not on separate lines on the page.) It doesn't help that I associate dress rehearsals exclusively with plays.

Now I have the urge to draw a lunar module in a giant pink gown.
