Last night I got past the 6,000-word mark -- more than a thousand words past my NaNoWriMo quota for today. Better remember to update my account to reflect this.
I doubt I could keep up the pace, and the story is going pretty awkwardly. But I'm starting to think that many great authors felt the same way when they were penning what would turn out to be classics. I just wish sometimes that I could get my hands on a rough draft of theirs; it would give me a sense of potential for mine.
In other news, I changed my obnoxiously long office password yesterday. Have you ever come up with a clever or colorful password and then had the urge to tell it to somebody? It scares me how close I can come to being one of those idiots I laugh at online.
