(no subject)
I've been editing biographical sketches today, presumably all written by the subjects themselves. Most are no more than three paragraphs, but one takes up more than 1 1/2 pages. He's arguably not the most egregious, since the previous biography used a small font and one very long paragraph, but this guy started with, "Born in an isolated portion of the Cumberland Mountains of eastern Kentucky on August 6, 1936..." (zzzzz). It doesn't help that he writes his name once and uses only "he," "him," and "his" thereafter.
His surname? Huff.
