I partook in an extended family seder last night. I learned a few things, partly from the new haggadah editions... but also from my cousin's dog, Baxter (named for the Anchorman pooch).

Sleepy John, I can see why you have better luck with big dogs. This one got walked several times in one evening and never seemed to stay tired for long. He wasn't destructive, but his random growls were unsettling. More than that, his sudden shrill barks disrupted the seder. One of them even made me spill my Manischewitz on my pants, the haggadah, and especially the wall (I was sitting away from the table due to crowding).

Frankly, I'd find a human baby easier to handle.
