(no subject)
This is the third week in a row that Netflix has taken a day longer than usual (or what *was* usual until now) to acknowledge receipt of my latest return. Has their system slowed lately? Or is it the U.S. Postal Service? Maybe they decreased the frequency of pickup times at my nearest mailbox.
Either way, I'd better draw Friday's "Downscale" tonight so I can watch the next movie the day it arrives. Minimal time between viewings will be all the more important to me during Lent, since I'm giving up video games (not including My Fitness Coach).
...Meh, I shouldn't whine so much. Even if I get four DVDs a month instead of eight or nine, it's a bargain. Besides, I might rediscover the joy of spending hours at a nonelectronic activity. Why reserve books for subway rides?
