Today I saw a preview for 2012. My thoughts while watching:
1. Boy, Roland Emmerich sure loves the disaster subgenre. Or else he keeps at it just because it's most profitable for him.
2. While I still kinda prefer theater viewings to home viewings, this is awfully loud.
3. You know, it was one thing for Morgan Freeman to play the president in Deep Impact in 1998. But now that we have our first partly Black president in office, casting Danny Glover in that capacity during a world-threatening event seems to take on another meaning.
