Yesterday, for no clear reason, I recalled an event from the first few episodes of "The West Wing." That evening, when I went upstairs to collect my mail, I overheard TV dialog that I recognized from one of those episodes. It included a mention of the event in question.

Yet another instance of what I like to call my useless superpower.
