My Favorite Robo-Romance

The year is 2805,
When almost nothing’s left alive
On Earth, and just a single bot
Still functions in a junky lot--
Until one more from space arrives
To take back home a plant that thrives.
The two machines could hardly be
Less similar, and yet we see
Compelling signs of true romance.
For instance, there’s their low-G dance.
Some bots might say, "Does not compute,"
But EVE and WALL-E sure are cute.
