That's the image I got from the Script Frenzy site when I verified that The Man Who Was Israel had passed 100 pages. In truth, I could have gotten it sooner. Not knowing how best to turn a Scripped file to a PDF, I copied the text to MS Word, improved the appearance a tad, and saved from there. At 10-point Times New Roman (old habits die hard), it was more than 30 pages longer.
So much for all that parenthetical padding. Well, I may let my folks read it more or less as is, but it needs a lot of trimming to be a good stage play. And probably a better handling of the larger group scenes.
Just think: Earlier this week, I was afraid I'd have trouble finishing before the month ended, partly because I'm attending a play on Friday and partly because I was planning to split a longish movie on Tuesday and Wednesday (so soon after I noted my addiction, too). But there came a blessing in disguise when the DVD proved completely silent, even when I turned on the commentary. I'll get the Netflix replacement tomorrow, but I won't watch much if any of it tomorrow.
...Because I'll be busy with something else: Downscale! Against my prediction, you can expect an update on the last day of the month after all.
