It's been almost two weeks since I posted my set of badly described plots. Not surprisingly, [livejournal.com profile] kinkyturtle has made the most correct guesses. But there are still two unguessed, and before I tell the answers, I'll throw in some extra clues.

5. A teacher becomes popular when his friend kills somebody. -- '60s film western (Guessed by [livejournal.com profile] nefaria)
8. A king cries when a snake eats his plant. -- ancient epic (Guessed by [livejournal.com profile] hyperion90)

You may have noticed that none of my ten entries were (originally) video games, which may surprise you given my love for the medium. Thing is, the vast majority of games I've played have plots that are hard to distort well; they're insipid enough as it is. The better plots are for games that I imagine few of you have played.

EDIT: That's all of 'em; thanks for playing, everyone!
