My Christmas Eve mass went well as far as singing goes. The instrumentalists had some trouble, probably because they had little practice with the choir. It's also too bad that none of the songs appealed to me enough that I welcome them still playing in my head now.
On the gift front, my family didn't exchange as many charitable contributions as in the last two years; in fact, I don't think there were any. Shame, but at least we're likely to enjoy what we did get. Usually I get one or two video games, except sometimes with a new system; this time it's three, possibly due to the large number I had on my list in light of a promising influx.
I also got The Man Who Was Thursday, which I'd tried to find myself before and failed. Once I read that, I'll no longer resist reading "Little Tales," a furry webcomic that alternates between a TMWWT adaptation and another story.
I was planning to make filler for "Housepets!" as requested by Rick Griffin, but tomorrow's the deadline and I haven't given it much thought. Better act fast and not be distracted by gifts.
Anyway, here's a sort of present to you readers: big cats enjoying their gifts, or at least the boxes.
