Sometimes I go crazy with these things:

One weekend at the Red Cross, a dragon did appear.
She came to donate blood, and so the staffers had no fear.
The first real sign of trouble came in asking for her weight:
She’d never gotten on a scale that’s meant for aircraft freight.

Dentition made her temperature a little hard to find.
They took her word that two-oh-six was normal for her kind.
Then came the hardest part of all: Her scales were much too thick.
It dawned on them that dragon blood might make a human sick.

They sadly told the dragon that she couldn’t be a donor.
She seemed to take the bad news well; at least it hadn’t thrown her.
To make the visit worth their time, she paid them all in gold.
They praised her generosity, and out the door she strolled.

The only place to draw her blood was somewhere on her dick.
