Constellations

I’ve never been decent at finding well-known
Constellations within the night sky.
Apart from Orion, with three close-knit stars
For a belt, I’m so bad I don’t try.

And you can forget me connecting the dots
To form new constellations of mine.
To me, they’re just specks in the dark, and they’re too
Far apart to suggest some good lines.

Perhaps it’s coincidence; nevertheless,
I should mention what else I don’t do:
Devise new conspiracy theories; I’d bomb
At connecting some other things too.
