"Trail" derailed
Normally, neither I nor my mom reads “Mark Trail” in the paper. This week, however, something has been catching our eyes:

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/fun/mark.asp?date=20060707
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/fun/mark.asp?date=20060707
It’s particularly noticeable in the second link, where not only are there two questionably placed word balloon stems, but the content of those balloons wouldn’t be out of character for the bear.
Is the cartoonist/balloonist getting sloppy, or is this part of the Furry Revolution? And if the latter, why didn’t I get the memo?
