deckardcanineFor the first time since I attended college (when it didn't matter), I've received a summons to jury duty on the DC Superior Court. Oddly enough, it came the day after my sister got one. And she never got any in college.
This might be good news. I hear that jury duty is interesting, and my company will give me my full salary. But my parents get summoned almost regularly every two years, which seems unusual even for the District, especially since my dad has a JD. I hope this isn't the start of the same cycle for me.
