I just bought Carol K. Mack's A Field Guide to Demons. With tax, it came to $16.92.

As you may recall, the Salem witch hunt was in 1692.

I doubt the vendor had that in mind, but maybe somebody did. :)

Whoa! Not only that, but look at the numbers themselves! 1+6+9+2=27 and 27-5 equals the number 23!
