Why is "Downscale" late?

deckardcanineAt first I assumed that I had been uploading the cartoons too late in the evening (e.g., 10:50), even tho "Downscale" isn't supposed to update before midnight. That seemed to be the case the second-to-last time it was late.
But this time, I discovered that the strip wasn't even in the Workspace folder where I uploaded it before. When I started poking around to see if it had gone to another folder, the site stopped recognizing my login, and repeated logins failed. The next day, I was able to upload the strip to the proper folder, with the date in the file name adjusted. But today I checked and saw that it had disappeared again.
Comic Genesis does run into trouble every so often. I'll wait this out.
