Bad news and good

BAD: the computer keyboard in my room has stopped working altogether, despite being plugged in all the way. Until we solve the problem, my parents and I must work around each other's computer time. With my sister coming in the next two days, it will be all the worse if we haven't solved it already.

GOOD: I got a call from HSR saying that they were FedExing the forms I need to start work on Monday. The pay is a little less than at ASM, but I'll be more familiar and comfortable with the work, even tho they say I'll be on the fast track as soon as I get there. Time to email thanks to my references. And just think -- if the keyboard problem lasts, at least I'll have my office computer on Monday.
