The Express cover article today, somewhat appropriately starting on page 13, is about Web sites that send your usernames and passwords to specified recipients in the event of your death. The focal example site is Legacy Locker, which charges $30 for an account.
I am seriously considering such an investment, but I'm not sure how secure it is. Plus, there's only so much that my next of kin would need the data for. Is it worth the price to let my LJ and other online acquaintances know why I've been silent lately?
What I really need is to compare similar Web sites, which the article in question doesn't mention by name. My Google Fu must get stronger.
