We've gone back to our previous company for transcription. They make a similar number of errors, but at least they do more in the way of organization, like identifying speakers. The newer company put everyone's words into one huge paragraph and was insufficiently responsive to our email.

This time, it doesn't look like any of the errors were made by a machine. Instead, I get the impression that the transcriber would listen once to a complete sentence or two and then stop the audio to write it down from memory. Ah well. Such is the price of demands for efficiency.
