Nearly three months ago, I noted Gloria Stuart turning 100. Today I found out that she died on Sunday.
Remember, this was an actress best known for a role in which she dies at 100. At least, that's the most popular interpretation of the ending. I used to assume Rose was just having a sweet dream, as reinforced by the opening line of the ensuing song that I apologize for reminding you of if the mere thought of it annoys you to this day.
I have to wonder whether Stuart more or less planned it this way.
