Comically Ambiguous Wording Alert (CAWA)

In today's "Baggage Check" column, Dr. Andrea Bonior writes this:

Indeed, introverts of the world get a bad rap. In movies, they're usually shoving their glasses up their nose....

It took me several seconds to figure out that she meant pushing the glasses from the tip of one's nose to a point closer to the eyes. I have yet to see a movie in which anyone, introvert or not, shoves eyeglasses -- or worse, a drinking glass -- into a nostril. The closest call was Roxanne.

Reminds me of Vegenostrum day over on DeviantArt, when everyone was supposed to draw their character shoving vegetables into their nose. Ursula Vernon's Digger used radishes. I wonder if anyone managed an eggplant.
