Express's new article on Billy Bob Thornton emphasizes that Puss in Boots is the first animation for which he's done voice acting. I knew better and checked: He was Jigo, a villain of sorts from Princess Mononoke. Maybe reviewer Kristen Page-Kirby doesn't count dubs of foreign animations, or maybe Thornton himself doesn't, but I sure do.

I used to feel that way. The main trouble is that text momentarily distracts from other visuals, which are especially important to Studio Ghibli. And sometimes the English-language voice acting is more fun.
