I've now seen an ad for the game Cake Ninja. It looks just like the popular Fruit Ninja (in which you slash as many tossed fruits as possible) with merely cosmetic differences. The ad reports, "Ninja hates all cakes because... they have made his ninja wife put on weigh [sic]."

It is impossible to apply the Portal meme and not sound like a tool. Instead, I'll try another meme: "When no one was looking, Ninja slashed forty cakes. He slashed 40 cakes. That's as many as four tens. And that's terrible."

If it were up to me, I'd incorporate that into the ad. People would complain about cashing in on an Internet meme for viral marketing, but let's face it, the kind of people who would complain about that aren't the target market for a cheapo iPod game that's a reskin of another cheapo iPod game.
