Rats, I forgot to look at the moon yesterday. I know it wasn't literally blue, nor did it fit the formal definition of a blue moon, but looking would have doubled as a gesture of respect to Neil Armstrong. Oh well. I did notice that the Giant had Blue Moon drinks near the checkout lanes. Coincidence? Also, in the Tintin companion book I've been reading, I happen to have just reached the chapter on Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon, which told a remarkably realistic story for 1953. Hergé later drew a tribute to Armstrong.

Funny the things I notice and don't notice right away. It wasn't until yesterday that I had any notion that this was the start of a long weekend. But I did remember without prompting that Lady Di died exactly 15 years ago. She and Mother Teresa have been dead almost half my life now. O_O

And this morning during a jog, I noticed I was breathing in a conga rhythm (out out out out IN IN...). Don't tell me I'm not strange.

Look tonight. Or tomorrow. Unless you have a really good eye, it will still look full. Neil won't mind.

Rhythmic breath is nothing new. In fact, have you seen the video that tells you how to do CPR to a disco song? Wouldn't it be horrible if Staying Alive was the last thing you ever heard?
You're not strange. I will always be stranger than you.
Mother Teresa and Princess (sic) Die died when I was graduating highschool. The only thing similar about the two people is when they died. Everybody knows that Mother Teresa got really upset when she got into heaven because Di got a bigger halo, but then she found out it was actually a steering wheel.
Di was famous for being a slut, and Mother Teresa was the butt of jokes in popular films such as TOYS with Robin Williams. Oh yeah. That's not popular.
