I've been indoors for about 36 hours now. The rain has not stopped in all this time. No flooding at my place, thankfully, but the noise made my sleep difficult. The power checked out a few times briefly; if it happens again while I'm on this computer, I think I'll borrow my absent housemate's laptop (with phoned permission).

Funnily enough, a few days ago I watched The Crow, which is set on October 30th and has a motif of constant rain until the end. As goth avenging angel Eric Draven assures us, "It can't rain all the time."
