I reached two milestones on Sunday:

1. I have now held a job for six months.

2. I made myself a good spaghetti and salad dinner with no supervision.

Since I can't have more than two readers younger than myself, this probably sounds lame and/or cute to all of you.

It's 1:15 am and I just got home and I am hungry. Could you please come over and cook spaghetti?

Wait...how many pasta sticks laid end-to-end would it take to get from your house to my house in Los Angeles??

If the United States is about 3,300 miles wide, and that's about the distance from L.A. to D.C., and the spaghetti strands I use are a little under one foot...figure 1.8 million.
