Blistering barnacles. I was almost ready to part with my old PC; it seemed like my MacBook could now do everything I needed. But tonight MP Navigator EX 2.0 could not open properly on the MacBook. It worked fine before, yet this time it offered no explanation. I might just keep both computers set up in case one fails.

Speaking of failure, I worry that I'm doing something wrong with my body. I've been going to my office building's gym every weekday for the past few weeks, expanding to various specialized machines. On the plus side, I've progressed to heavier weights and longer workouts, and it feels good to leave with my muscles firmer. But for about eight hours now following my latest gym visit, my spine has felt pressure when I take a deep breath while sitting down. If this continues, I'll see my doctor. Perhaps I boosted my regimen too quickly, or perhaps I've misused some equipment. In the latter case, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which.

Do NOT start jumping up to heavier weights until you have developed the proper FORM for lifting them. You need to develop your core muscles (back and abdomen) and learn to isolate and move properly. If you swing too much, or don't have the proper 'anchor', you can seriously screw up your back and joints.

Take a few sessions with a personal trainer, or a coach, or someone who can show you the right way. If your back is hurting already, you're doing something wrong.

Is that "MP Navigator" the software that came with a Canon camera and/or scanner? There are so many different versions of that program, and a lot of them are really buggy and/or just plain terrible!

Yes, for my scanner. It never had a problem on my PC, but for my MacBook I had to download it from online.
