(no subject)
More silliness on Craig's List. One ad describes a present roommate as a "24-year-old young man." I thought it was redundant, but then, you're only as old as you feel.
At long last, the "xmarine" has stopped advertising. Not only was that choice of self-description a turnoff for me, but the fact that the ad kept getting resubmitted tells me he was mighty arrogant. I don't know if he found the perfect roommate or just gave up.
But nothing compares to a particular deal: "$1 -- Free for someone who's easy on the eyes." No matter what my appearance, I refuse to answer that ad. It's creepy.
...This just in: I went to look for the $1/free place ad again to confirm the exact words, but it's already gone. There's a sucker born every minute; I only wish I knew if it's me this time.
