Minutes ago, I completed the daily crossword at the Merriam-Webster site. One clue read, "Opposite of stet." You'd think that a copy editor who readily uses "stet" would know, but I had to work around the answer, which was "DELE."
Minutes later, as I progressed on the daily crossword in The Express, I came to a clue that read, "Dele's opposite."
I won't forget now.
