deckardcanineAt my office holiday party today, there were 15 "baby" photos of staff members (some looked about five) for us to guess. I am no good at these things, altho I did guess one of the dark-skinned babies correctly, thanks in part to dark-skinned employees being a minority here. The apparent ages of the photos themselves were a big clue, which is probably why the majority of guessers ultimately guessed mine, with one prime alternative.
Probably the most widely popular photo -- tho not with the man whom the kid became -- was one clipped from a small-town paper with the caption "Baby of the Week." He looks a little old to be mistaken for a girl more often than not; I blame the '70s haircut.
I don't have my own photo with me now, but IIRC it shows me with thin hair and corduroys, grinning toothlessly, and lying on my stomach with my arms raised like wings. One of my nicknames then was The Little Airplane. In my opinion, it is the cutest picture up there.
I must be a narcissist.
