Molly Ivins died of breast cancer seven days ago. This is saddening, but my main emotion is soreness -- I didn't find out until today! You can blame this on the fact that I don't read "I Drew This" regularly, but I see no reason why it couldn't be on the front page of The Washington Post, The New York Times, or other less-than-ultraconservative sources in my life. Even my parents, who own and have enjoyed her books, either didn't think to tell me or didn't know.

R.I.P., Ms. Ivins. I'll make a point to read Nothing but Good Times Ahead.
