Late this afternoon, our receptionist told me that my supervisor wanted to see me in the kitchen on another floor. I thought, "Uh oh, did I miss a meeting announcement? Am I in trouble? Will I be given an unsavory new activity?"
After about 30 seconds, at which point I was still in the stairwell, I figured it out. My supervisor knew that I would attend an offsite training for the next two days, so this would be the best time for the office to celebrate my 25th birthday, which is really tomorrow. (Also celebrated was an employee whose birthday is Saturday.)
I may fall for an April Fools trick every year, but my company can't fool me for long. Of course, if I were smarter, I would have realized the possibility of a celebration ahead of time and not eaten a pair of Triple Chocolate Twix bars a few minutes earlier. I ate half a piece of ice cream cake before fearing for my digestion. How appropriate that the humor card that people had signed for me had the theme of eating too much cake and ice cream.

Otherwise, happy birthday!
And overeating on your birthday usually isn't a big problem... ;)
