I've been trying to find out the last time that Rosh Hashanah fell on September 13. It's not easy to get the answer with Google. If I had the time and patience, I might be able to calculate the answer, but the formula is agonizing.
Why do I care? Because September 13 is my sister's birthday. She's 23 now. And keen on embracing her Jewish heritage.
I'd also like to know the last time Rosh Hashanah fell on October 3, my mom's birthday. Since she didn't grow up with Jews, it may have happened in her lifetime without her knowing it.

And tell your sister happy birthday for me.
But if you're thinking of previous years, then it would be 1977.
As for falling on October 3rd, last time was 1959, and the next time is 2016.
That would be and agonizing formula to run by hand, wouldn't it.
I used my computer...
