I realized today that gore bothers me more than sexual themes when I watch movies, yet it's the other way around for video/computer games. I considered a few possible reasons, but none really add up. Thoughts?

It's an interesting observation, I wonder if it has anything to do with my sense that those two things are often "gratuitous" in the respective mediums you mention.
