I've been seeing some comics acknowledging that this year's April Fools Day has been a Sunday, when many go to church, but none has acknowledged Palm Sunday in particular. Perhaps it's just difficult to think of something tasteful with regard to the conjunction of one of the solemnest holidays with one of the least solemn holidays.

But shortly after Mass, I thought of a possibility. You know that old gag where you hide some red paint behind you and ask, "Would you like your palm red?" You could make it a double pun.

Now if I only knew what to do with this palm, which I took home only because I was asked...
