Had a catchphrase consisting of “Yes?”
It may have been monosyllabic,
But he stretched it a long time to stress

His available customer service.
He meant to sound eager to please,
But instead, it was plainly dishonest,
Conveying a bundle of sleaze.

His delivery made it so blatant,
His eyes open wide with a smile
And his voice very high for a male one,
Which dipped and then rose. What a style.

To this day, you can find imitations
Of his type. For example, I know
That The Simpsons has done him a few times.
(They sure like short catchphrases: “D’oh!”)
