Slither Forth
My male landlord emailed me today; he sensed from his cell phone that something was wrong with our Net connection. He gave me instructions to unplug and replug the power supply to the cable modem by one of the computers. Gosh, I thought, could it be that our Net disruption merely happened to coincide with him and his wife leaving? My computer is indeed connected once more, but in the process, I noticed that there was one surge protector plugged into another. Perhaps I merely needed to turn both on in the first place. If so, then it was still my landlords' fault.
Well, whatever. Now that I can upload scan pictures again, time for some more fun! But first, let me explain. Last Friday, I read this dialog in "Sally Forth":
"He's like a snake in the grass, biding its time, with a grin on its face, reading 'The Prince,' holding a knife..."
"Never has such a vivid image been so hard to picture."
So I took that as a challenge and...
