Addenda to my good weekend news:

5. I enjoyed the weekend newspaper comics more than usual, including some that usually do very little for me. Perhaps I was simply in a jovial mood.
6. To top off the happy weekend, I and my family went to a night showing of Happy Feet. Aside from the supremely corny resolution (given the hero's quest, it was either that or an unhappy ending), it is muy genial. It's also probably the first hit animated feature inspired by a documentary.
