Another New Yorker Cartoon Coincidence?
On my New Yorker cartoon calendar today, a glum man leaving for work tells his wife, "It's Bring Your Personal Demons to Work Day."
This evening, since my landlord's family hasn't returned, I took in and sorted the day's mail. It included an issue of The New Yorker. I couldn't resist looking at the cartoons inside. One of them showed a beat-up, angry psychiatrist telling his patient, "You left your demons here last week."
What timing. You'd almost think something supernatural was at work here.

Just a few days ago I was reading a little bit about Korean culture, and it so happens that Koreans (or atleast the elders) hate the number 4. SO, I dismissed the the thought as a silly superstition.
But, that Night (or day) at I woke up to a classical song and checked my clock. It read 4:44 (kind of like 666) and that truely creeped me out.
*BTW the #4 to Koreans is like the #13 to Americans.
